Started 1922 in UP Manila this annual tradition is a reflection of social and political beliefs of the university students. From its beginnings as a simple homage to an old Christmas tradition to the elegant parade around the academic oval each Yuletide season with their beautifully designed lanterns and ornaments. This is truly a historic event that every UP students are proud of!
