​🔍 The Technical Breakdown

​When the console arrived, it was essentially a "dead set." Here’s how we professionally assessed and resolved the issues:

​No Power / Dead Set: Upon diagnosis, we found a complete failure in the Power Supply Unit (PSU) and a broken physical On/Off switch panel.

​Our Solution: While we can repair individual components, the sheer number of failed internal rails in this PSU made a component-level repair nearly as expensive as a new part. For practicality and long-term reliability, we opted for a full PSU replacement to ensure the console receives stable voltage.

​The "Silent" Disc Drive: The Blu-ray (BD) drive was completely unresponsive—no feeding, no ejecting.

​Our Solution: We traced the fault to a blown BD drive fuse on the motherboard. This tiny guard dog "tripped" to protect the system. We replaced the fuse to restore logic power to the drive motor.

​Disc Read Errors: Even after the drive started spinning, it couldn't read data.

​Our Solution: We installed a brand-new KEM 490 AAA Laser Lens. This high-precision optical head ensures the console can once again read game data with zero latency.
