Building in the Philippines
I should've shared this a while ago, but work always gets in the way!
The main entrance to the house, apparently. This is what you get when you hire local workers who claim to know what they are doing. Yes, so long as they aren't doing anything to do with concrete, blockwork or cement work! 🙄
I still haven't sourced wood for the cill, about a months later... Why? Other, 'more important' projects come along... and I am supposed to be out of here very soon, with electrics and 2 roofs still to do!
Anyway, it is still like this and I will video it as I get it done! In the meantime I have been putting up a roof extension and tidying the terrible mortar work around this area of the house, but more on that later also 😁
It looks like I will be here for a while longer, due to the Middle East issues right now. Thanks, Trump! 🙄
Enjoy your day, wherever you are 😊
I should get working - it's past 6am here...
These are pretty cool! I'd love to have them here in the Philippines, to really speed up and improve wood construction (I much prefer wood to concrete), but I don't know where you would get such precisely cut timber. The stuff from the timber merchants is all undersized and a bit warped... 🙄

I know that I haven't posted anything here for a while, it's all been boring stuff such as painting and varnishing. And trying to buy materials to get on with projects! The local timber merchants don't seem to have much timber at all! 😳🙄
Anyway, check out this renovation - what an excellent project! I want one! 😁
