📢Through the 𝗘𝗨 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗶𝗱-𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁, we go the extra mile to ensure that no one is left behind during emergencies. We work to remove barriers to humanitarian assistance, bridge gaps in essential services, and deliver life-saving support to the most affected and vulnerable communities, particularly older persons, persons with disabilities, pregnant women, and children.

⚠️ 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲

𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 & 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁, 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝟳.𝟴 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼.

Together with People in Need Philippines, Humanity & Inclusion conducted a rapid needs assessment in affected communities in Sarangani Island, Sarangani, Davao Occidental.

Through focus group discussions with displaced families and coordination with local government units, the team identified the following priority needs:
☐ Psychosocial support for children and adults
☐ Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene essentials
☐ Clean water
☐ Food assistance
☐ Medicines

🚨More than 400 families remain displaced, facing inadequate shelter, limited access to clean water, and disrupted livelihoods. As aftershocks continue, fear and uncertainty remain part of their daily lives.

The immediate provision of life-sustaining assistance is critical to protecting the health, safety, and dignity of those affected.

✋🏼Humanity & Inclusion is working alongside partners to deliver timely, inclusive, and life-sustaining assistance, ensuring that older persons, persons with disabilities, children, and other vulnerable groups are not left behind as communities recover from this devastating earthquake.

📢WE'RE LOOKING FOR CONSULTANT FOR MIDTERM PROJECT EVALUATION

CDiC Project is a five-year project implemented by HI Philippines that aims to respond to the unique challenges faced by children and young adults (ages 0-25) living with Type 1 diabetes. As an autoimmune condition that impairs the body’s ability to produce insulin, Type 1 diabetes requires lifelong management, including consistent access to insulin and regular blood glucose monitoring.
