The 𝗞𝗧𝗧𝗢-𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗧 𝗡𝗫𝗧 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸-𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 was successfully held last May 7, 2026, at the UP BGC-Henry Sy Sr. Hall, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

As part of the “KTTO-IMPACT Learning and Preparatory Program for Technology Transfer of HEIRIT Universities” under the IMPACT NXT Program, the event gathered university leaders and stakeholders from DOST-supported institutions across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao to strengthen knowledge and technology transfer initiatives, innovation portfolios, and research commercialization efforts.

The program featured the Presidents Forum on sustainable technology transfer frameworks for research commercialization, alongside Commercial Readiness Workflow workshops aimed at equipping KTTOs in facilitating the market entry of research-based products and services.

Late post, but a key chapter in our 2025 Wrapped.
The BMPMF Kickoff last June 19 marked the start of focused work to prepare research technologies for industry engagement, licensing pathways, and real-world adoption.

Through onboarding sessions, alignment on expectations, and early conversations around industry fit, pilots, and adoption routes, research teams, mentors, and institutions began shaping what would later become many of our licensing and partnership discussions for the year.

This year, we celebrated the holidays in the spirit of Barangayan—because innovation is strongest when it is built as a community (sama-samang gawa, sama-samang siklab).

While our roles, programs, and disciplines may differ, we remain united by a shared purpose: collaboration, mutual support, and collective progress. Behind every initiative, training, and milestone is a network that practices bayanihan—working together so that ideas, like communities, can truly grow.

As we welcome the season, we are reminded that impact is not achieved alone. It is created when we move forward magkakaiba man ang papel, iisa ang direksyon—toward a more inclusive and connected innovation ecosystem.
