They then shared their concept to Susan, also a daughter of Milagros and Segundo, and the head of anesthesiology department at Bicol Medical Center and also affiliated with NICC, Mother Seton, and St. John Hospital to name some, who immediately conceded. The center is a tribute to Segundo and Milagros' hard work. Having high regard for education, they did everything they could to provide their thirteen children with good education if not the best education there was during their time. The center hopes to inspire parents and children to continue dreaming, working hard, and succeeding despite financial constraints, physical difficulties, and self-doubt.
