urvived the 1998 financial crises and capital flight from what could have been the Asian Tigers, and the latest 2008 Wall Street Financial crises as well as the Euro – crumbling finances. The Partner Rural Bank, Inc. also survived not only the financial but also the political crises, that is, the numerous political failures and collapses since 1986 up to present. kept on surviving the social conflicts and the war – like conditions of the Cotabato and Central Mindanao regions since last half of the 1970’s up to the present. Yet, we stood fearless and undaunted continuously believing that the poor rural population and micro-small businessmen and entrepreneurs of this part of Mindanao still need a rural financial institution, no matter how small, that somehow could provide rural and agriculture – directed credits to the people who needed them most.
