We affirm three creeds—the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed—as ecumenical expressions of the Christian faith. We also affirm three confessions—the Belgic Confession, the Heidelberg Catechism, and the Canons of Dort—as historic Reformed expressions of the Ch
ristian faith, whose doctrines fully agree with the Word of God. Man, the chief of God’s creation rebelled and continues to rebel against God’s will. God has redeemed us from eternal condemnation through the atoning death and resurrection of his son Jesus Christ, and that the Holy Spirit dwells within us, restoring our fellowship with God which will be perfected upon his return. We affirm excellence in fellowship and service in order to daily discover and grow in our ability to extend the love of Jesus to the Body of Christ. (1 Cor. 3:6, Titus 1:7-9)
EQUIPPING
We affirm excellence in equipping in order to teach others to daily discover and grow in life of faithful membership and the knowledge of the Holy Scriptures. The Great Commandments we learned, we excellently teach to others. (Mark 12:28-31, Eph. 4:11-13)
