Lighting the Way: Second Week of Advent

Today, December 8, 2025, the St. James Academy community gathered together for a meaningful moment as we lit the Second Candle of the Advent Wreath! 💜

This candle, often representing Peace (or sometimes the Prophets), reminds us to prepare our hearts with hope and reflection as we anticipate the birth of Christ.

It was a beautiful moment of unity, joined by our dedicated faculty and wonderful students, setting a serene and hopeful tone for the rest of the season.

Let the light of this second candle guide us toward greater peace this week!

Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception: A Day of Faith and Community

Today, December 8th, we celebrated the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary at St. James the Greater Parish of Pasuquin.

The Holy Mass was a truly solemn and beautiful occasion, presided over by the esteemed Rev. Msgr. Lorenzo Torreflores.
