MACTAN-CEBU TO BANTAYAN ISLAND FLIGHTS STARTING JULY ✈️

✈️ Bantayan Island Airport will soon have regular flights from Mactan-Cebu International Airport once all the necessary permits are completed by a route applicant, Leading Edge Air Service Corporation (LEASCOR).

✈️ Maiden flight is tentatively scheduled on July 5, with a twice weekly frequency. Mactan departure is at 10am while the return flight is at 1pm.

✈️ LEASCOR is a Filipino cooperative airline company established in 2016 and has since been operating chartered flights to different provinces in the country.

✈️ The airline is currently operating a fleet of two aircrafts, an ATR 72 and a Fokker 50.

✈️ Bantayan Island Airport, located in the town of Santa Fe, is classified as community airport but recent upgrades and a runway extension are geared towards becoming a commercial airport soon.

✈️ The airport is under the control and supervision of Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority.

✈️ Regular flights to the island will open Bantayan to a wide spectrum of tourism-related opportunities, just like Panglao and Siargao in the early days.
