MGEN Renewables partners with Meralco Power Academy and NEUST to advance Research and Skill Development💡

MGEN Renewables has signed a tripartite agreement with Meralco Power Academy and Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) to strengthen collaboration between industry and academe through research and learning initiatives.

This partnership aims to equip aspiring engineers and energy professionals with the skills and opportunities to pursue careers in the local energy sector, while helping build a strong talent pipeline for projects like MTerra Solar, the world’s largest integrated solar and battery storage facility.

As the country’s energy landscape continues to evolve, MGEN remains committed to empowering Filipino youth through meaningful learning initiatives that prepare them to power the future.

MGEN Walks for Inclusion at the Best Buddies Philippines Friendship Walk 2026

MGEN, through MGEN Renewables’ IGNITE, proudly joined the Best Buddies Philippines Friendship Walk 2026 at BGC Amphitheater, standing alongside a global movement that champions friendship and opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

With 11 IGNITE volunteers and the support of Chief Legal Counsel Atty. Maan Ballesteros, our team showed up in full force, raising ₱22,000 to help advance Best Buddies Philippines’ programs in friendship, leadership, and employment.

Together, we continue to strengthen our partnership and commitment to building a more inclusive future for all.

MGEN Celebrates Women’s Month 2026 💜

Employees of MGEN came together on 19 March 2026 to celebrate the voices, experiences, and contributions of women in all their diversity.

During the event, Chief Legal Counsel Atty. Maan Ballesteros gave an inspiring speech on how women should take up space and fight for their dreams, because for her, a win for one woman is a win for all womankind. The main event of the celebration, called FemmePowering Conversations, allowed participants to create a safe space where they could exchange stories, perspectives, and personal journeys meant to empower, uplift, and help them thrive as a community.
