JOB DESCRIPTION :

Technical Support Assistant will work under direct supervision of the team lead. Responsibilities will require daily interactions with the company employees; they must work with minimal supervision and also work with a team setting.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
At least (1) one year of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Fresh graduate are welcome to apply.
Desktop Maintenance and Support – adequately address hardware and software troubles throughout the client’s location
Telecoms Maintenance and Support - Monitoring and maintenance of network connections of all local phones (handsets and softphones).
Organized and detail-oriented
Should be able to multitask and prioritize good time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also preferred
Should be able to work independently but also as part of a team

JOB QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Provide technical assistance to team lead
Assist in handling routine customer issues.
Answer and respond to customer calls and messages.
Redirect customer calls to corresponding engineers and technicians.
Perform tests and repairs on all IT gadgets.
Provide technical services to customers on time.
Keep abreast of the technical developments to provide excellent service to client

Responsible for envisioning and setting goals in the IT Department of the company.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Delegate duties within the IT department.
• Monitor all team members and provide necessary advice and guidance.
• Review completed tasks to ascertain compliance with standards.
• Coach all team members and motivate them to produce desired results.
• Work alongside other departments to achieve company goals and visions.
• Perform periodic risk assessments and initiate risk control strategies.
• Write and forward regular reports to the management.
• Provide solution to any complex IT related challenges in the organization.
• Carry out in-depth research to reveal new and better methods of handling functions within the department.
• Keep up with trends in the constantly evolving information technology industry.
• Perform regular IT audit to discover areas of weaknesses and fortify them.
• Developing and overseeing the installation of systems, which include software and hardware.
• Ensuring all installations, maintenance, and upgrades are carried out on schedule and to client specifications.
• Performing tests and troubleshooting, as well as quality assurance.
• Implementing safety procedures and data recovery plans.
• Developing user manuals, as well as policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Maintain documentation for continuous service improvement and knowledge base of technical resolutions for common or recurring problems.
• Server and Data Center Management – respond and adequately address server and data center troubles.
• Analyzing existing computer systems and making recommendations for upgrades and improvements.

Job Qualification, Knowledge and Skills
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in related field is required for this position.
• Ability to listen and communicate instructions effectively.
• Ability to lead, direct and control team members.

• Ability to pay attention to details with excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Experienced in designing/planning, implementing, optimizing and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Internet
• Experience in Windows and Linux servers
• Experience in different Network devices (Firewall, Router, Switch and Servers )
• In-depth knowledge of computer usage and programming.
• Ability to take proactive steps in managing problems.
• Must be security conscious and do all it takes to avoid sensitive information and data leakage.
