Look at what we stumbled upon during a quick trip to the museum: a cross-sectioned toilet! ๐ฝ
Did you know that prior to the invention of the modern toilet, sanitation was such a disaster that resulted in diseases and even deaths? In 1775 however, Alexander Cu***ng developed and patented the flush toilet, which features an S-shaped pipe that prevents foul odors such as sewer gas from entering through the toilet.
Safe to say the next time we're going to test sanitary wares, we'll take a moment to appreciate the marvel that is the toilet ๐
