"To simply paint, and trust the process completely."

The hardest challenge wasn't mastering technique but daring to make that first brushstroke—the beginning of something uncertain. I became my harshest critic, convinced that everything had to be flawless. I fell in love with art because it made me feel free, but over time, my desire for validation turned into shackles of that creativity.

"Magugustuhan kaya nila", "Maganda ba", "May patutunguhan kaya ito", etc. became a constant refrain, drowning out the joy of how lovely it was to simply paint.

For the first time in what felt like ages, I allowed myself to let go, to let the brush flow, and to embrace the process. Instead of an exact portrait, I wanted to catch a glimpse of this chaotically beautiful mind and what it can do when it isn't riddled with fogging whispers of self-doubt when it knows it's okay to make mistakes.

A calm warm, soft strength, a playful moderation, and a beautiful imperfection.
