| A Community in Formation: Accompaniment, Relationship, and Shared Mission
The USJ-R Elementary Department was privileged to begin the first day of the In-Service Training with an insightful and inspiring session by Rev. Fr. James Dexter Tanquis, OAR, Basic Education Director, “The Educational Wisdom of St. Augustine: Accompanying the Recollect Educators Towards the Truth.”
In his reflection, Fr. Tanquis underscored the significance of accompaniment, fraternal correction, and authentic relationships in the educational ministry. He emphasized that the pursuit of truth is not undertaken in isolation but within a community that supports, challenges, and guides one another toward personal and professional growth.
The moments featured in this video reflect the strong and meaningful relationship shared by the Elementary Department faculty and our Recollect administrators. A relationship characterized by trust, collaboration, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to the mission of Catholic education.
The USJ-R Elementary Department extends its deepest gratitude to our Recollect administrators for their continued guidance, support, and accompaniment. Your presence and leadership strengthen our resolve to serve with excellence and fidelity as we continue our shared mission of forming learners who will contribute positively to society.
As we move forward in this academic year, may we continue to journey together in truth, service, and community.
