On May 21, 2026, the Rural Health Unit of Parang successfully conducted a Hypertension Awareness activity through PuroKalusugan at 📍Purok Panay, Barangay Sarmiento, strengthening community-based efforts in preventing and managing hypertension and diabetes.

✔️ PhilPEN Risk Assessment – 45
✔️ Urine Dipstick Testing – 43
✔️ Monitoring of Hypertension & Diabetes Patients – 43
✔️ Random Blood Sugar (RBS) – 43

This initiative highlights the importance of early detection, regular monitoring, and healthy lifestyle practices in preventing complications of non-communicable diseases.

Another successful community health outreach was conducted through PuroKalusugan at 📍Purok Campo Uno, Barangay Pinantao last May 21, 2026, bringing essential healthcare services closer to every Parangueño.
