𝗗𝗡𝗦𝗖 𝗕𝗦𝗙𝗧 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆'𝘀 𝟭𝟴-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗔𝗪: 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

A final project from a Gender and Society class at Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) earned top honors in the Panabo City 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) Advocacy Video competition.

The BSFT 3A students’ entry, titled “Nene,” was chosen from multiple sections within DNSC to represent the college before winning the city-wide contest. The film portrays a representative narrative of VAW victims, emphasizing the necessity of speaking out.

“The piece aims to highlight the power of using one’s voice to catalyze change,” said director and BSFT 3A student, Joshua Gutierrez.

The winning video was recognized at the campaign's culminating ceremony held on December 12 at the ARF Gymnasium in Panabo City.

The PAFT-Phi community commended the achievement, noting it demonstrates the program's versatility and excellence beyond the academic setting.
