With immense pride and gratitude, we celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Filipino students in the Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad (TIMO) Final Round 2025โ€“2026, held from February 6โ€“9, 2026, conducted both online via Zoom and onsite in Bangkok, Thailand. The competition is organized locally in the Philippines by Math Olympiad Training League, Inc. (MOTLI) and internationally by the Olympiad Champion in Education Center (OCEC).

๐ŸŒ ONLINE PARTICIPANTS

Leading the roster of achievers is Mary Antonette Yanto, a Grade 8 student from Philippine Science High School - Bicol Region Campus, who earned a Gold Medal in the Secondary 2 Category, showcasing exceptional analytical strength and mastery of advanced mathematical concepts.

Also securing a Gold Medal in the Primary 6 Category is E.J.A., a Grade 6 student (school withheld for confidentiality), whose disciplined preparation and strong foundational skills led to a remarkable international performance.

Continuing his winning streak, Miraj Caleb Fajarit, Grade 7 from Philippine Science High School โ€“ CALABARZON Region Campus, clinched a Gold Medal in the Secondary 1 Category, reaffirming his consistency and excellence in global mathematics competitions.

Demonstrating outstanding performance in the Senior division, Kalel Elijah Lontok, Grade 10 from Senator Renato "Compaรฑero" Cayetano Memorial Science and Technology High School, brought home a Gold Medal in the Senior Secondary Category, reflecting his high-level problem-solving ability and competitive maturity.

Adding to the Philippinesโ€™ medal haul, Ziv Andrei Calonzo, Grade 9 from Philippine Science High School - Southern Mindanao Campus, earned a Silver Medal in the Secondary 3 Category, while Sebastian Espartinaz, Grade 11 from Quezon City Science High School, also secured a Silver Medal in the Senior Secondary Category, both demonstrating commendable resilience and competitive excellence.

Meanwhile, Stacey Fame Nacion, Grade 8 from Philippine Science High School - Bicol Region Campus, received a Merit Award in the Secondary 2 Category, recognizing her strong performance among international contenders.

๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ ONSITE PARTICIPANT (Bangkok, Thailand)

Representing the Philippines onsite in Bangkok, Rhoelle Angela Mamorno, Grade 11 from Lyceum of the Philippines University - Batangas, earned a Bronze Medal in the Senior Secondary Category, demonstrating courage and excellence on the international stage.

All Gold Medalists from TIMO Final Round 2025โ€“2026 now need at least one more Gold Medal from either the Guangdongโ€“Hong Kongโ€“Macau Greater Bay Area Mathematical Olympiad (Big Bay Bei) Finals 2026 or the Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad (HKIMO) Finals 2026 to qualify for the prestigious World International Mathematical Olympiad (WIMO) Final Round 2026 โ€“ Battle of the Gold Medalists, scheduled this January (host country to be announced).

These achievements once again highlight the brilliance, discipline, and global competitiveness of Filipino learners in mathematics. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the students, their families, mentors, and institutions who continue to shape world-class mathematical talents.

Indeed, Filipino excellence shines brightly on the international stage. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญโœจ

The World International Mathematical Olympiad (WIMO) is among the most prestigious international mathematics competitions, globally organized by the Olympiad Champion in Education Center (OCEC) in Hong Kong and locally organized in the Philippines by the Math Olympiad Training League, Inc. (MOTLI). Qualification to WIMO is highly selective, requiring participants to earn two or more GOLD MEDALS in the Final Rounds of the Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad (TIMO), Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad (HKIMO), and/or the Guangdongโ€“Hong Kongโ€“Macau Greater Bay Area Mathematical Olympiad (Big Bay Bei) within the same year, with awards determined strictly based on international score cut-offs. From tens of thousands of participants in the Heat Rounds and thousands of finalists across these competitions in 2025, less than a hundred students worldwide successfully qualified to compete in the WIMO Final Roundโ€”making participation itself an extraordinary achievement.

Among these elite qualifiers is Kalel Elijah Lontok, a Grade 10 student of Senator Renato โ€œCompaรฑeroโ€ Cayetano Memorial Science and Technology High School in Taguig City, Metro Manila, who delivered a commendable performance by earning a Silver Medal in the Secondary 3 Category. His achievement is particularly notable as he was also a WIMO Merit Awardee last year, reflecting his consistency, perseverance, and sustained excellence in international mathematics competitions.

Also representing the Philippines with distinction is Miraj Caleb Fajarit, a Grade 7 student from the Philippine Science High School โ€“ CALABARZON Region Campus in Batangas City, who secured a Bronze Medal in the Primary 6 Category. His performance once again demonstrated strong analytical thinking, disciplined preparation, and a deep passion for mathematics, affirming his place among the worldโ€™s promising young mathematical talents.

Both Kalel and Caleb, were proudly mentored and tutored by Kuya Ralphโ€™s Tutorial and Academic Services, whose guidance and encouragement helped nurture their skills, discipline, and love for mathematics. We also extend warm congratulations to their parents and families, whose unwavering support, sacrifices, and encouragement have been integral to their childrenโ€™s success.

These accomplishments highlight the brilliance, determination, and global competitiveness of Filipino learners in the field of mathematics. As we celebrate these victories, we also recognize the combined effort of students, mentors, and families in shaping world-class talents. Indeed, Filipino excellence continues to shineโ€”where dedication meets discipline, and where numbers speak of intellect, resilience, and world-class potential.

Once again, we proudly congratulate our WIMO Final Round 2025 awardees for bringing honor to the Philippines and inspiring future generations to pursue excellence fearlessly. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญโœจ
