TINGNAN: Sa ginanap na International Research Conference (IRCon) on Global Citizenship Education (GCED), ipinahayag ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon (DepEd) ang suporta nito sa Global Citizenship Education (GCED) sa pamamagitan ng MATATAG Curriculum.

Layunin ng Kagawaran na isulong ang GCED sa pamamagitan ng pagpapalakas ng kapasidad ng mahigit isang milyong g**o na turuan ang mga mag-aaral na maging global citizen sa ilalim ng MATATAG Agenda.

Samantala, tinalakay naman ni DepEd External Partnership Service Director IV Margarita Ballesteros ang mga inisyatiba at programa ng Korea-Philippine Teacher Exchange Program Association.

May temang "Traversing Global Citizenship Education in the New Normal: From Research Innovations to Impactful Actions," ang IRCon GCED na ginanap nitong Oktobre 4-6 sa Boracay Island, Aklan ang kauna-unahan na isinagawa sa Pilipinas at Southeast Asia region. Inorganisa ito ng Philippine Normal University sa tulong ng DepEd at partners.

NOW | Project LAYAG Showcases its contributions to promoting and mainstreaming Global Citizenship Education in the 1st GCED Cooperation Centre International Research Conference on Global Citizenship Education.

Project designs, lesson plans, and documentations are exhibited to serve as exemplars of mainstreaming GCED in the K to 12 Curriculum.

This conference is hosted by Philippine Normal University, serving as the designated GCED Cooperation Centre for the Philippines.

The conference will run from October 4-6, 2023 at Paradise Garden Resort Hotel and Convention Center.
