I admire the drive of young aspiring contractors, but let’s not forget timing and preparation are just as important as ambition. While it’s legally possible to enter the construction business at a young age or as early as 18 y.o, I always advise students (especially those with parental support) to finish their studies first. The construction industry is demanding and can be overwhelming without a solid foundation. Pursue the dream but do it with readiness, guidance, and integrity.
