DTI - Zambales

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Zambales, represented by NC TIDS Jhoana Rosalyn Pona, together with Small Business Corporation (SB Corp) Zambales Coordinator Erson Salamatin, and in partnership with the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) participated in the Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) “Serbisyo Caravan” held at the Barangay Covered Court of San Roque, Castillejos, Zambales on June 17, 2026.

As part of the caravan, DTI Zambales promoted its programs and services for entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners. The office provided business consultancy services to eight ( 8 ) clients, four (4) of whom successfully registered their new Business Names (BN). The consultations covered business development, registration requirements, and available government support programs for MSMEs and aspiring entrepreneurs.

The RCSP Serbisyo Caravan reflects the government's commitment to bringing essential services closer to the people and supporting inclusive community development through strengthened collaboration among national and local government agencies.

LOOK | DTI Zambales through the Consumer Protection Division simultaneously conducted price and supply monitoring of Basic Necessities and Prime Commodities in Subic, San Antonio and San Narciso, Zambales on June 16, 2026.

The activity aims to ensure that the prices of basic necessities and prime commodities remain within the Suggested Retail Prices (SRPs) and are properly displayed for consumers’ guidance. During the inspection, the team visited various grocery stores and supermarkets to check prevailing prices and assess compliance with existing price regulations. In terms of supply, supermarket and grocery owners confirmed that their stocks are sufficient to last for at least one month, indicating strong inventory preparedness.

Continuous monitoring, validation of product availability, and timely reporting will be sustained by the DTI Zambales to ensure accurate market information and consumer protection.
