Rights First: LRP Desk Opens for SHS Job Seekers in Panabo City

PANABO CITY — To ensure the safety and welfare of graduating students entering the workforce, a dedicated Learner Rights and Protection (LRP) Desk was officially established during the One-Stop Shop for SHS-TVL Graduates and Jobs Fair held at the Panabo Multipurpose Tourism and Cultural Center Gymnasium on March 13, 2026.

The initiative aims to promote the overall welfare of first-time job seekers from the Senior High School-Technical Vocational Livelihood (SHS-TVL) track. By placing the LRP Desk at the heart of the recruitment hub, organizers sought to ensure a secure and supportive environment for graduates, reinforcing the commitment to learner safety as they transition from the classroom to the professional world.

As part of the advocacy, 150 sets of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials were distributed to the learners , providing them with essential guides on safety and protection. Adding to the event's visibility, the LRP Mascot made a special appearance, engaging with the youth to further promote the mission of the Learner Rights and Protection Office.

The Job Fair brought together various employers and government agencies, offering a streamlined process for graduates to apply for positions and secure necessary pre-employment documents. The addition of the LRP Desk marks a proactive shift in learner support, extending protection beyond school grounds and into the early stages of career development.
