Day 2| Food Processing Technology
🗓️ July 12, 2026 | Ocampo, Camarines Sur

Another productive Saturday of learning, teamwork, and skills development through the Stand Up, Rise Up: ExCEL Program!

Our beneficiaries successfully completed the following activities:

🥩 A. Quick Cured Ham – After 14 days of curing, the first phase is finally complete and the product is now ready to cook.

🍖 B. Pork Tocino – Participants gained hands-on experience in preparing and processing this well-loved cured meat product.

🐟 C. Bangus Sardines – The participants successfully prepared Bangus Sardines. However, the canning procedure was not carried out due to contingency measures and the unavailability of appropriate packaging materials in the area.

Before beginning the food processing activities, everyone worked together to deep clean and sanitize the kitchen, reinforcing the lessons from the second day of our Cleaning and Sanitation session. This practical application emphasized the importance of food safety, cleanliness, and proper hygiene before any food production takes place.

Through every session, our beneficiaries continue to build valuable knowledge and practical skills that empower them with livelihood opportunities and promote safe, quality food production.

Day 4 | Handicrafts Technology

Another productive day of learning and creativity at the Stand Up, Rise Up: ExCEL Program! Today, our trainees explored the art of String Pot Holder Making, transforming simple fabric strips into beautiful, functional, and eco-friendly doormats.

Every knot, weave, and pattern reflects not only creativity but also the valuable skills that can open doors to livelihood opportunities. Thank you to everyone who participated with enthusiasm and dedication!
