Last night, our salon was robbed. Our salon is located along the main road, where many people pass by — but even then, we still weren’t spared from thieves.

We’re thankful that no one was hurt, and that alone is a big relief.

At the salon, only a small amount of money was taken, but what truly hurts is the money stolen from one of our staff — money that she worked hard for over months and days, earned from tips and commissions. In just an instant, it was gone.

It’s heartbreaking and frustrating, but more than anything, this is a reminder for all of us to stay alert and cautious.
