Women have increasingly gained recognition for their important contributions to various areas of society, including the economy, politics, religion, and cultural development. At the Academic Senior High School of the City of Meycauayan, we are a group of individuals who are not only women by biology but also committed to promoting human development and social justice. We strive to effect positive change through policy advocacy and instill cultural values, principles, and beliefs in the children we teach, guiding them toward success in their futures.
Together with Ma'am Jane Ramos Dasig, the captain of our ship, meet the strong women of Academic Senior High School of the City of Meycauayan.
The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) spearheads the annual National Women's Month Celebration (NWMC), which honors women and their contributions to nation-building. It highlights the need to protect, promote, and fulfill women's rights so they can maximize their potential and welfare, enabling them to be agents of the country's development. This celebration also coincides with the worldwide observance of International Women's Day (IWD). In line with this, Academic Senior High School has commenced this celebration with the theme “ Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas; Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, patutunayan.
Pasasalamat sa lahat ng mga g**o at mag-aaral na nakiisa sa paunang gawaing ito. Gayundin sa walang sawang suporta at gabay ng aming mahal na Punongg**o, Maam Jane Ramos Dasig.
