Development Communication students were hailed as the overall champion during the recently concluded FALSAYAHAN 2023.

The much-coveted title of Queen of FALS 2023 was awarded to Reynaldo Jainga Jr., who mesmerized the crowd with her grace, poise, and confidence. Her exceptional performance earned her several special awards, including Best in Playsuit, Best in Creative Jeans, Best in Runway Challenge, Most Eloquent, and Best in Advocacy. Reynaldo's sister, Yona Jainga, also shine at the event, placing as the first runner-up and winning the award for Best in Long Gown. The Jainga sisters' outstanding performances added to the overall success of the DevCom team.
Adding to their triumph, the DevCom team also took home the Hiyas at Ginoong FALS 2023 crowns, with Maria Fernanda Celestino and Windyl Linganay representing the team. Maria Fernanda also received two special awards, Best in Long Gown and Most Eloquent, while Windyl was awarded as Ginoong Friendship, Best in Formal Attire and Most Eloquent. Both of them also shared the Best in Talent Award, showcasing their impressive and creative abilities.
Apart from their beauty and intelligence, the DevCom students also wowed the audience with their exceptional talent in singing and dancing competitions. Jhino Bilbao wowed the judges and emerged as the champion for the singing competition, while the DevCom dancers, including Kirk Aumada, Nicole Sayod, Joan Bansag, Nonelyn Amodo, Dhenzeil Novo, and Reymark Ferrando grabbed the championship title in the dance competition.
The Cheers and Yells team, also made a mark by placing third in the competition. The team was composed of MC Marane and other talented individuals who showed their creative skills in cheering and entertainment. DevCom students also stood out in the team-building competition and were awarded as third place.

The impressive win of the DevCom students in the FALSAYAHAN 2023 has demonstrated that their academic prowess extends beyond the classroom, and their remarkable talents and skills shine in the spotlight. Congratulations to the DevCom team for their well-deserved victory!
