Conduct of a consultative meeting with the local PWD Presidents regarding the proposed Annual Budget of the PDAO for Fiscal Year 2027, ensuring participatory planning and alignment of programs and services with the needs, priorities, and welfare of persons with disabilities in the community.

𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗦 𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗢𝗟 𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗞𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗧 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗞𝗦𝗬𝗢𝗡 𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗚𝗔 𝗣𝗪𝗗

Buong pagmamalaking ipinababatid ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Masantol ang pagpasa ng Municipal Ordinance No. 2026-003, Series of 2026, na kilala bilang PWD Grievance Redress Ordinance of Masantol.

Layunin ng ordinansang ito na magtatag ng malinaw, ligtas, at madaling ma-access na mekanismo para sa paghahain, pagsisiyasat, at pagresolba ng mga reklamo ng Persons with Disabilities o PWD. Saklaw nito ang mga usaping may kaugnayan sa diskriminasyon, pang-aabuso, kapabayaan, pagkakait ng benepisyo, suliranin sa accessibility, at iba pang paglabag sa karapatan ng mga PWD.

Sa pamamagitan ng pagbuo ng PWD Grievance Redress Board, higit pang pinagtitibay ng Bayan ng Masantol ang pangako nitong pangalagaan ang dignidad, kapakanan, at karapatan ng bawat PWD sa ating komunidad.

Tinitiyak din ng ordinansa ang pagiging kumpidensyal ng mga reklamo at ang proteksyon laban sa anumang uri ng paghihiganti o hindi makatarungang pagtrato sa mga maghahain ng reklamo nang may mabuting layunin.

Ang pagpasa ng ordinansang ito ay patunay ng patuloy na pagsisikap ng Masantol na bumuo ng isang pamayanang inklusibo, makatao, at may malasakit sa lahat.

Para sa isang Masantol na ligtas, patas, at tunay na kumakalinga sa bawat mamamayan.

The Municipality of Masantol proudly announces the approval of Municipal Ordinance No. 2026-005, Series of 2026, also known as the “VAWC Desk Officers Institutionalization Ordinance of the Municipality of Masantol, Pampanga.”

This ordinance strengthens the protection of women and children by institutionalizing the designation of qualified Violence Against Women and Their Children (VAWC) Desk Officers in every barangay.

Through this measure, every barangay shall have a designated VAWC Desk Officer who will assist in receiving complaints, providing immediate support, ensuring confidentiality, documenting cases, and coordinating with the MSWDO, PNP, health offices, and other concerned agencies.

The ordinance also provides support mechanisms, including capacity-building activities, technical assistance, logistical support, referral systems, and a monthly honorarium for designated Barangay VAWC Desk Officers, subject to existing rules and availability of funds.

This is another step toward a safer, more responsive, and more protective community for women and children in Masantol.
