In a historic breakthrough, a vaccine for HIV has successfully passed human clinical trials, marking a monumental step in the fight against one of the world’s deadliest viruses. This innovative vaccine trains the immune system to recognise and neutralise HIV before it can establish infection, offering hope for millions at risk worldwide.

Early trial results show strong immune responses with no serious side effects, giving researchers confidence in the vaccine’s safety and potential effectiveness. Experts believe this could transform global HIV prevention strategies and drastically reduce new infections in the coming years.

While more studies are needed before widespread rollout, this success signals a new era in HIV research. The possibility of a world where HIV is preventable is now closer than ever, offering hope, empowerment, and a path toward ending the epidemic once and for all.

We were delighted to participate in the activity held at the Angono Municipal Gymnasium on February 12, 2026.

In its commitment to promoting good health and overall well-being, the Municipal Health Office of Angono conducted a comprehensive health education program through lectures and discussions covering various aspects of healthcare. The initiative, led by the Dental Section, primarily targeted pregnant women to support positive well-being and healthy outcomes during pregnancy.

In addition to providing dental services, the program included health profiling, lectures, and audiovisual presentations on proper oral care and hygiene, personal hygiene, smoking and va**ng cessation, and food safety.

Our hearts are full that we were able to provide gifts and prizes for the participants. Thank you, MHO Angono Dental Section and Dr. Paul Angelo Maralit.
