“bayanihan”—an old tradition prevalent in barrios and countryside, we have developed this sense of giving and helping our neighbor channeled through what we called e-volunteerism. What motivates us? In recent study conducted by an independent group, the shocking truth reveals that both men and women considered unimportant source of happiness the participation in cultural activities, participation in community and volunteer work. We, at LSM objectifies to raise cultural awareness. We bank on the socio-cultural practices of volunteering and community participation as tool for nation-building.
