The Episcopal Commission for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People of CBCP (ECMI-CBCP) is a commission of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) established to sensitize the local church on the needs and care of migrants. ECMI-CBCP's vision is a church and society where everyone has sufficient means to a decent life and where strangers feel welcomed and cared for.

Following his attendance at the CBCP-ECMI 15th TOSDOSA Awards, Dante Francis Ang II, Secretary of the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO), called for a meeting on April 22, 2026, at the CFO Office to discuss potential areas of partnership with the CBCP Episcopal Commission on Migrants and Itinerant People.

In a letter addressed to the ECMI Luzon Coordinator, the meeting aimed to explore areas for collaboration and strengthen ties between the two institutions. The discussion concluded with a positive outcome, opening opportunities for future joint initiatives and cooperation.

The CBCP-ECMI extends its sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO), particularly to its Chairperson and Secretary, Dante Francis M. Ang II, for gracing the 15th Gawad Anak OFW โ€“ TOSDOSA Awards held on April 10, 2026 at the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) in Intramuros, Manila.

The CFO has been a steadfast partner and consistent supporter of the TOSDOSA Awards, serving as one of its regular sponsors through the years. Its continued commitment plays a vital role in recognizing and empowering the sons and daughters of Overseas Filipino Workers, inspiring them to strive for excellence and become agents of positive change in society.

The hall of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) became a venue of inspiration during the awarding ceremony of the 15th Gawad Anak OFW held last April 10, as two distinguished TOSDOSA Awards alumni shared their powerful messages with the participants.

It was truly a memorable moment as members of the pioneering batches returned to affirm the significance of the Gawad Anak OFW in shaping their journeys and inspiring future generations.

The CBCP Episcopal Commission for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People extends its deepest gratitude to the following alumni:

โ€ข ๐—”๐—ฅ๐— ๐—ฌ๐—ฅ ๐—˜๐—ก๐—–๐—”๐—ฅ๐—ก๐—”๐—–๐—œ๐—ข๐—ก โ€“ Batch 1 President and finalist during the inaugural TOSDOSA Awards in 2008. He is currently a Senior High School teacher at Our Lady of Caysasay Academy (OLCA) and has served in various leadership roles, including as Past President of JCI Batangas Balisong. He is also an award-winning independent film director.

โ€ข ๐——๐—ฅ. ๐—ฅ๐—˜๐—ก๐—”๐—ง๐—ข ๐—š๐—”๐—Ÿ๐—ฉ๐—”๐—ก ๐—๐—ฅ. โ€“ Batch 2 finalist and Top 2 awardee of the TOSDOSA Awards in 2009, representing Holy Family Academy of Angeles, Pampanga. He is now a neurologist and currently practices at the OFW Hospital in Pampanga.
