[ πŸ₯ HELP NEEDED FOR LOLA EMILIA]
Malaya Lola Emilia, sister of the late Malaya Lola President Isabelita Vinuya, was rushed to the hospital night of May 4, 2026 due to cough and colds, lowered oxygen and sudden forgetfulness. Test results as of May 6 show her blood sugar went down and there is infection in her blood.

With permission from the family, we have posted these info and QR code to the Gcash of Lola Emilia’s granddaughter Ms. Sheila Salvador. Any amount given through this channel would be very much appreciated πŸ™πŸΌ and would help ease the high cost of hospitalization, which has reached over 60,000 pesos as of May 7 and is increasing as Lola Emilia continues to get the medical attention she needs. Donations from the international community are also welcome. 🌏

β•πŸ§Ύ Please send screenshot proof of transaction to the inbox πŸ“₯ of Malaya Lolas Volunteer Network as we monitor donations and forward them to Ms Sheila.

It is the obligation of the Philippine government under the UN Committee on Elimination on All Forms of Discrimination Against Women ♀️ to implement a nationwide reparations program for the Malaya Lolas and all other Filipina survivors of wartime sexual slavery (commonly known as comfort women) that includes regular and adequate healthcare, which are one of the most pressing and primary needs of the Lolas due to their advanced age. The cost of healthcare support should come from the government, and not to largely depend on private donations. The latter is the compromise we take due to the urgent nature of Lola Emilia’s situation.
