In our latest research, weโre diving deep into the world of Non-Photorealistic Rendering (NPR)! Weโve developed a dedicated, lightweight 3D scene editor specifically for Cross-Hatchingโa technique that uses layered, intersecting lines to create beautiful tonal values and textures. ๐๏ธ๐
Why Cross-Hatching? ๐จ
For Project Anito, visual identity is everything. To capture the soul of Filipino folklore and heritage, we are moving away from standard "realistic" graphics toward a distinct, illustrative aesthetic. This cross-hatching tool allows our artists to assemble environments that feel like a living sketch, perfectly matching the mystical vibe of the Anito universe! ๐บ๐
