Our final speaker to tackle 𝐁𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 is 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐃. 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐨. He is a BS Pharmacy graduate from Manila Central University and is currently taking Masters in Public Administration in the City of Malabon University. In 2021, he received his license as an Immunizing Pharmacist by the Philippine Pharmacists Association. Currently, Mr. Serrano is a designate senior in Oncology Pharmacy at the University of the Philippines - Philippine General Hospital where he also worked as a compounding and dispensing pharmacist. He is a member of the International Society of Oncology Pharmacy Practitioner since 2016 as well as the Philippine Society of Hospital Pharmacy.

He was recognized by the Philippine General Hospital as the Gawad Papuri Awardee in 2012. He was a guest speaker in the Pharmacist Pandemic Response to Covid-19 Seminar conducted in 2022. He is a licensed pharmacist with more than thirteen years of experience providing good pharmacy services in the hospital setting.
