Ngayon, Mayo 1, 2026, nakikiisa ang mga Scouts sa paggunita ng 𝘼𝙧𝙖𝙬 𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙜𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙜𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙬𝙖 (𝙇𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧 𝘿𝙖𝙮)—isang araw ng pagkilala sa 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗽 at 𝗺𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗴 ng bawat manggagawang Pilipino sa pag-unlad ng ating bayan. 🇵🇭

Sa araw-araw na paggawa at sakripisyo, sila ang patuloy na nagsisilbing 𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒊 𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒖𝒏𝒂𝒏 at 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒔𝒚𝒐𝒏 𝒏𝒈 𝒌𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒏.

Bilang mga Scouts, kami ay nagbibigay-pugay at nagpapasalamat sa kanilang 𝙙𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙨𝙮𝙤𝙣 at 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙗𝙞𝙨𝙮𝙤 para sa pamilya at sa bayan.

Last April 11, 2026, the Manila Council gathered for a Program Planning Meeting to align goals and discuss upcoming initiatives for the organization. The session focused on creating clear and organized plans for future activities. ✨

Through collaboration and active participation, the Council built a strong foundation for the programs ahead.

Pursuant to BSP-Manila Council Memorandum No. 07, series of 2026, Mr. Jeffrey R. Alitagtag, LT, has been appointed as the Acting Council Scout Executive, effective March 16, 2026. His role will focus on directing the administrative and programmatic functions of the Council, fostering key partnerships, and upholding the vision of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines. The Council respectfully requests the full cooperation of all personnel and stakeholders as Mr. Alitagtag undertakes these pivotal responsibilities.

Reflecting on the 40th Anniversary of the People Power Revolution

Today, February 25, 2026, marks four decades since a nation found its voice and changed its course without firing a single shot. The BSP-Manila Council solemnly honors the extraordinary courage, unity, and unwavering spirit of the millions of Filipino who converged at EDSA Shrine. Their peaceful stand was a profound testament to the collective desire for freedom, truth, and democracy.

The spirit of People Power is more than a memory; it is a lasting legacy that reminds us of our shared strength. It teaches us that when we stand united—grounded in truth, mutual respect, and an abiding love for our nation—real and lasting change is not just a dream, but a distinct possibility. The path they forged was paved with sacrifice and hope, a gift that continues to shape our national identity.

As we commemorate this pivotal moment in our history, let us carry its lessons forward. May this day deeply inspire us all, especially the youth—the Pag-asa ng Bayan—to become not just witnesses to history, but active participants in shaping the future.
