Its programs and services include training and mentoring of student and employee athletes; exposure of student athletes to actual game/sport environments; facilitation of the availment of scholarships and other financial assistance; and initiating wellness programs and activities for employees and faculty. The Sports Development Program Office is in line with the University’s goal of providing holistic development to both students, employees, and faculty members. The SDPO is the office that caters to and oversees the sports development program of the university. It collaborates with the colleges and administrative offices in the implementation of its programs and services, such as in recruitment and mobilization of athletes to represent the university in sports associations and athletic competitions within and outside the campus.
