Today, we honor the courage and sacrifice of our heroes who stood firm in the face of adversity. Their unwavering spirit reminds us that true kagitingan (valor) lies not only in battle, but in the everyday pursuit of justice, unity, and peace.
As we commemorate this day, may we always remember what Adres Bonifacio had once said, “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘰 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯”, and may we continue to uphold the values of resilience and patriotism that define our nation.
