True Story: When I first started out as an Instagram Strategist, I was lost in the sea of content creation.

But then I discovered the secret sauce — CONTENT PILLARS! 🎯

They are like the ✨ guiding lights ✨ that helped me create cohesive and organized content that resonated with my audience.

Want to know how to identify your own content pillars? Here are some steps that worked for me:

1️⃣ Define Your Content Goals: Start by understanding what you want to achieve with your content. Is it to educate, entertain, inspire, or drive conversions? Clarifying your content goals will help you identify content pillars that align with your overall content strategy.

2️⃣ Understand Your Target Audience: Your audience is the heartbeat of your content. Conduct research to know their needs, interests, pain points, and preferences. This will help you create content pillars that truly connect with them.

3️⃣ Review Your Existing Content: Look for common themes or topics in your existing content that already resonate with your audience. These can be potential content pillars that you can expand and build your strategy around.

4️⃣ Evaluate Content Gaps: Identify gaps in your content strategy. Are there topics that are not adequately covered? These gaps can be potential content pillars to fill the void and provide value.

5️⃣ Align with Your Brand Values: Your content pillars should align with your brand values and messaging. Consider how your content can support and reinforce your brand identity.

So often I hear from business owners that creating and posting content on Instagram can be daunting especially with the constant pressure of needing to post daily or even twice or thrice a day for their marketing efforts to be effective.

I get it. And I want you to know you’re not alone. So many of my clients feel like this when they first come to me.

But hey, I also want you to know that posting daily isn't a requirement to achieve the goals you want for your Insta page.

Sure, it can help you with your marketing efforts, but remember that there are a lot more important factors to consider -- your content, strategies, campaigns, engagement, and many more!

So instead of focusing on the quantity of your posts, why not focus on the quality? Whether that's posting 14x a week or 4x a week, what's important is you're putting out content that is ACTUALLY relevant and valuable to your audience. Go with the pacing that you can keep up with consistently.
