We invite all regular faculty, full time or part time, and research, extension and professional staff (REPS) in UP Manila, including medical specialists of the Philippine General Hospital to join the Academic Union. Tenure or permanency is not a requirement for membership.

The All U.P. Academic Employees Union is the sole and exclusive representative of faculty and REPS in the University of the Philippines. Recently, AUPAEU and UP entered into their third Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA).

A number of benefits currently enjoyed by the academic rank-and-file, including the annual CNA Incentive, were results of painstaking negotiations by the Academic Union with the UP administration.
