The amount of information you get from the net is massive and if you do not know anything about a certain topic, you will take everything as it is and believe that it is a fact.

Majority of landings even on big airliners are still manual. It is true that during the approach the autopilot aids the pilot to align the aircraft on the correct flight path down to the threshold of the runway but it is what the pilot inputs on the autopilot system and following specific procedures for the aircraft to fly the approach successfully until a certain point where the pilot takes over of the controls and land the aircraft manually. Yes the aircraft is able to land automatically if the airport equipment and the aircraft has the technology to do it but most importantly if the pilots are properly trained and have the qualification to perform an autoland. It is not just a matter of pressing a button and expect a magic will happen. 🤕
