A Holy Experience

God, I give my life to follow You. I am eager to do good to others because You have done so much good in my life. Even if I suffer for the good You call me to do, give me the courage to persevere. Momentary suffering is worth an eternity spent with You. Please protect me, and fill me with joy as I follow You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God, thank You for giving us Your inspired Word. I never have to wonder what Your will is, because I have it with me. Please continue to teach me what is true, and correct me when I’m wrong. Make Your words come alive to me so that I can always live a life that honors You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God, I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to learn from Your Word. I ask that as I read Scripture, You will speak to me through it. What do You have to teach me? I’m listening. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God, thank You for creating us to desire companionship. Relationships are so special, and I thank You for being the ultimate companion. Help me to be a good steward of the relationships I have and to be a good friend. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
