Manleluag Spring Protected Landscape

EARLIER TODAY:
DENR I Regional Executive Director Atty. Ronnel C. Sopsop, CESO IV paid his visit to MSPL and presided the 1st Regular Protected Area Management Board (PAMB) Meeting. And according to RED Sopsop, this was his very first PAMB meeting that he presided since he assumed as RED of Region I, which started on January 8, 2026.

In his introductory message, he shared his experiences and best practices in protected area management and emphasized the importance of collaboration, especially with the PAMB, in the effective conservation of protected areas.

MSPL-Protected Area Management Office (PAMO), in full support of the DENR, awards outstanding PAMO Staff during its Year-End Assessment cm Forward Planning for CY 2026 held on December 15, 2025.

Our outstanding PAMO staff include:
* 𝐄𝐥𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐌. 𝐒𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚 - “First-Aider Award” (Best Employee in First Aid Management and Basic Life Support)

* 𝐃𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬 𝐁. 𝐔𝐧𝐚𝐲 - “Mabuhay Award” (Best Employee in Filipino Brand of Service Excellence)

* 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐞 𝐀. 𝐈𝐬𝐫𝐚𝐞𝐥 - “Forest Sentinel Award” (Best Park Ranger for CY 2025)

Each awardee received a Certificate of Recognition and a gift package as awarded by PENR Officer Mary Ann Escoto.

Starting tomorrow (July 30, 2025), MSPL will be open for visitors. Thanks to the prompt action of CENPELCO, the road going to MSPL is now cleared from any obstruction. 😊✨
