𝗜𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗘𝗰𝗼-𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝘀𝘁

April 30, 2026 - Trekking and other eco-tourism activities in Itogon are set to resume starting May 1, 2026, following the lifting of the temporary suspension under Executive Order No. 23.

Mayor Bernard S. Waclin signed the order after authorities confirmed that recent forest fire incidents have been contained and affected trails cleared and assessed.

Activities may now proceed in identified sites, including Mt. Ulap, Mt. Ugo, Mt. Pigingan, Mt. Bidawan, Mt. Cotcot, and Ave Maria, subject to ongoing safety monitoring and compliance with regulations.

Local authorities will continue strict monitoring and fire prevention efforts to ensure the safety of visitors and residents.
