May is Electrical Safety Month, and while the experts at IIEE-Bulacan Chapter work hard to keep our grids stable and our buildings compliant, the real heart of safety begins at home — with 𝗬𝗢𝗨.

Electrical safety isn't just for engineers and electricians; it’s a shared responsibility. You don't need a license to be a catalyst for change and a protector against fire hazards. By practicing these 5 Simple Actions every day, you can prevent accidents before they even start:

• 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗣: Take a second to focus before you plug or unplug.
• 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧: Look for frayed wires or "fishy" smells. If it's damaged, don't use it!
• 𝗗𝗥𝗬: Never touch switches or cords with wet hands. Water and electricity are a deadly mix.
• 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗞: Avoid "octopus wiring." Don't overload your extension cords or outlets.
• 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗘𝗘𝗗: Only move forward if everything is clear, dry, and safe. If in doubt, call a pro!

These aren't just rules; they are life-saving habits. A few seconds of mindfulness can be the difference between a safe home and a devastating fire.

The journey to becoming a 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 (𝗥𝗘𝗘) is one we know, long nights, heavy pressure, and moments when giving up felt easier. But you held on, trusted the process, and showed what perseverance truly means.

With the release of the board examination results, the 𝗜𝗜𝗘𝗘 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 proudly congratulates our newly licensed REEs. This achievement is a testament to your sacrifices, discipline, and belief in your dreams. You didn’t just pass an exam—you proved to yourselves and to everyone watching that hard work pays off.

Becoming a 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻 (𝗥𝗠𝗘) is a testament and reflects years of hands‑on experience, sharpened skills, and countless moments where safety and precision truly mattered.

As the board exam results are officially released, the 𝗜𝗜𝗘𝗘 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 recognizes and congratulates our new RMEs who are now entrusted with critical roles in implementing, maintaining, and safeguarding electrical installations. This license is proof of your hard work, discipline, and commitment to doing things the right way on site, under pressure, and when it matters most.

You now carry the trust of the profession and the responsibility to keep people, systems, and communities safe. May you continue to lead by example and inspire those who are still working toward the same goal.

The long nights of staring at complex circuits, the countless pages of the codes and laws turned, and the years of sacrifice have finally led to this moment. What once felt like a distant dream — a goal written on the back of a notebook or whispered in a silent prayer — is now a reality.

To our April 2026 REELE and RMELE Passers, you have officially closed the circuit on your journey as students and opened a new one as professionals. Every missed gathering, every cup of coffee at 3:00 AM, and every "one more problem set" was a step toward the license you hold today. You didn't just pass an exam; you proved your resilience.

But the work is only beginning. The world is waiting for your brilliance. Whether it’s powering a single home or stabilizing an entire grid, you are now the guardians of our energy. Go out and light up our communities, innovate with integrity, and bring power to the places that need it most.

The circuit is officially complete! We have successfully concluded Part 2 of our 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗣𝗗-𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀. Building on the incredible momentum from Part 1, this final session allowed us to dive even deeper into the complexities of power system analysis, further igniting the technical expertise of our community.
