The City Health Office (CHO) of Taguig received two recognitions from PhilHealth for its efficient delivery of healthcare services and effective implementation of PhilHealth programs, including recording the highest number of PhilHealth claims and being named the Top Performing YAKAP Clinic for 2026.

The CHO was awarded a Certificate of Recognition for recording the highest number of PhilHealth claims from August 2025 to 2026, highlighting its efficient utilization of PhilHealth benefits and its commitment to ensuring that residents have access to essential healthcare services.

The office also received a Certificate of Recognition as the Top Performing YAKAP Clinic for 2026, recognizing its excellence in delivering quality healthcare services and adherence to PhilHealth standards.

The recognitions were conferred during the PhilHealth Reach Out Forum held on June 29 at the 11th Floor Training Room of the Sikatuna Building in Makati City. The event was attended by the City Health Office’s PhilHealth staff, data managers, TB DOTS nurses, personnel from the City Epidemiology and Disease Surveillance Unit (CEDSU), and Animal Bite Treatment Center (ABTC) nurses from various health centers across the city.

Receiving the awards on behalf of the City of Taguig was Dr. Ma. Evelyn Lacsina, the city’s LGU-PhilHealth Program Manager.

Under the leadership of Mayor Lani Cayetano and guided by its vision of becoming a Transformative, Lively, and Caring City, Taguig continues to prioritize the health and well-being of its residents through responsive programs and initiatives that promote accessible, inclusive, and quality healthcare.
