O Lord, grant us the grace to enter the silence and sadness of this Holy Saturday. Though the day is somber and the sacraments rest, let our watchful heart overflow with hope for the glory of your resurrection.

Heavenly Father, we humbly ask you to watch over our family, for whom Jesus Christ willingly faced betrayal, was given into the hands of sinners, and suffered death on the cross. He now lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God forever. Amen.
