With the full support of 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐅𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐤, LGU Maguing joined the 5-Day Capacity Building on Four Legacies for Children and Policy Development in Koronadal City.

Organized by CFSI with UNICEF, UNHCR, MSSD-BARMM, and PSA, the training is under the BRAVE Project to end childhood statelessness. It forms part of the UNHCR-UNICEF Digital Birth Registration Initiative, funded by the Government of Japan, and supports the UNICEF-MSSD Rolling Workplan.

The program aims to strengthen child protection in BARMM, focusing on Sama Bajaus, unregistered children displaced by conflict, and families of decommissioned combatants.

Championing democratic participation and informed voting, the Local Government Unit of Maguing through the Office of the Election Officer, Maguing headed by 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗵 𝗠. 𝗛𝗮𝗱𝗷𝗶 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗽 successfully conducted the “𝗕𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗢: 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝗼. 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗼” 𝗩𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 on May 26, 2026 at the Municipal Gymnasium.

The activity received full support from the LGU of Maguing under the leadership of 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗙𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗻𝗮 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗸. Mayor Molok underscored that voter education is crucial to strengthening Bangsamoro autonomy and empowering every Maguing resident to vote with integrity, awareness, and responsibility.

The activity was carried out in partnership with LGU officials and personnel, Sangguniang Bayan Members, Barangay Officials, and teachers — recognized as key frontliners in grassroots voter empowerment. It focused on educating voters about their rights, the value of a principled vote, and the electoral processes under the Bangsamoro framework.

The Local Government Unit of Maguing, Lanao del Sur, under the leadership of 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗙𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗻𝗮 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗸, successfully carried out the distribution of 10kg of rice to all (34) barangays in the municipality.

This initiative forms part of the 2026 Ramadhan Rice Distribution Program spearheaded by 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 “𝗕𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗶𝘁” 𝗔𝗹𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗴, 𝗝𝗿. The program reflects the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur’s commitment to supporting communities during the holy month, and was implemented on the ground through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office.

The distribution ceremony took place on March 7, 2026, at the Municipal Gymnasium in Maguing. Mayor Molok expressed gratitude for the province’s continued support and highlighted how the partnership between the municipal and provincial governments ensures that aid reaches every barangay efficiently and equitably.

He emphasized that the collaboration between his administration and Governor Adiong’s office is key to delivering timely assistance to families, especially during Ramadhan. The joint effort underscores a shared priority: easing the burden on households and strengthening food security across Maguing.

Residents and barangay officials who attended the ceremony welcomed the initiative, noting that the coordinated action between the LGU and the Provincial Government made the process organized and responsive to community needs.
