Today, we gathered for Solo Parents Day 2026, focusing on empowerment and support.

Our program featured an insightful lecture on Positive Parenting Strategies, providing our solo parents with tools to nurture their families with love and resilience. We also conducted a deep dive into the Salient Features of RA 11861 (Expanded Solo Parents Welfare Act) to ensure everyone knows their rights and benefits.

To cap off the morning, we successfully facilitated the distribution of the 1st Quarter Solo Parents Cash Subsidy.

A huge thank you to our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Mayor Dario A. Lapada Jr. for making this celebration possible and for always championing the welfare of our solo parent community. Through specialized support and community care, we are ensuring that every "super parent" has a village standing right behind them.

ADVISORY: TEMPORARY ADJUSTMENT OF OFFICE HOURS

In view of the observance of Holy Week the Municipal Government of Magdalena hereby informs the public that office hours shall temporarily be adjusted to 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., from March 30 to April 1, 2026 (Monday to Wednesday),

Please be advised that April 2 (Maundy Thursday) and April 3 (Good Friday) are declared non-working holidays. Further, Holy Wednesday may be subject to any subsequent Presidential issuance declaring full or half-day work.

All residents and stakeholders are respectfully encouraged to schedule and complete their transactions within the stated office hours.

Katuwang ang Council for the Welfare of Children at lahat ng ahensya ng pamahalaan, patuloy ang Philippine Commission on Women sa pagsulong ng mga polisiya at programang magtataguyod ng karapatan, proteksyon, at kapakanan ng mga batang babae tungo sa isang ligtas, malaya, at pantay na kinabukasan.
