𝟎𝟕 𝐉𝐔𝐋𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 || 𝐃𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐘 𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 (𝑯𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝑻𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏)

𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 personnel, under the leadership of 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟒 𝐉𝐨𝐚𝐬 𝐁 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐠, 𝑶𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒏 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒈𝒆 conducted daily Fire Station Housekeeping and Emergency Response Vehicle Operational Readiness.

Maddela FS personnel also conducted Hose Throwing and Connection. In the fire service, seconds cost lives and property. Hose throwing (deploying lines) and making connections are the bread-and-butter skills of firefighting. While they might seem like basic fundamentals, practicing them regularly is what separates a chaotic response from a flawless, aggressive fire attack.

Regularly drilling on hose deployment and connections for Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) personnel is critical for several key reasons:
1. Shaving Off Critical Seconds (Speed and Efficiency)
2. Preventing Equipment and Mechanical Failures
3. Enhancing Crew Coordination and Teamwork
4. Adapting to Diverse and Challenging Terrains
5. Firefighter Safety and Confidence

Fire suppression success relies entirely on getting water from the source to the seat of the fire as fast as possible. Regular hose throwing and connection drills guarantee that when the tone drops, the transition from transport to water application is flawless, professional, and safe.

𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 personnel, under the leadership of 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟒 𝐉𝐨𝐚𝐬 𝐁 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐠, 𝑶𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒏 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒈𝒆 conducted daily housekeeping. Daily workplace housekeeping is essential for preventing injuries, eliminating fire hazards, and boosting productivity. By keeping spaces clean and organized, businesses significantly reduce accidents, minimize equipment wear, and improve overall employee morale.

Maddela FS personnel also conducted donning and doffing of full PPE with SCBA under pressure. Knowing proper donning (putting on) and doffing (removing) of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) with a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) is critical. It ensures immediate respiratory protection in hazardous environments, guarantees an airtight seal against toxic gases, prevents cross-contamination, and saves vital seconds during emergency operations.

Guided by the philosophy of "𝑨 𝒄𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒏 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒏 𝒆𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏," daily housekeeping ensures that personnel can transition from total rest to full emergency response in under 60 seconds, Operational readiness in vehicle checks (BLOWBAGETS), and RESCUE ROPE KNOT FAMILIARIZATION-mastery of rescue rope knots is a foundational, non-negotiable life skill. Whether performing high-angle rescue from a burning high-rise, extracting a victim from a deep well (confined space), or executing swiftwater rescues during typhoons, a firefighter's knots are the literal lifeline between life and death.

𝐁𝐅𝐏 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 personnel, through the active leadership of 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟒 𝐉𝐨𝐚𝐬 𝐁 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐠, 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞, actively participated in the 2nd Quarter Barangay Assembly 2026 of Barangay Poblacion Norte and Barangay Buenavista.

During the assembly, BFP personnel shared important fire safety reminders and discussed practical measures to prevent fire incident and also distributed Fire Safety Leaflets. Residents were also informed about the proper actions to take before, during, and after emergencies or disasters to ensure the safety of their families and communities.

These activities are intended to honor the heroism and sacrifices of our forebears who fought for the nation’s freedom, celebrate the Municipality’s continuing progress and development, and promote environmental stewardship through active community participation.
