Mr. Charlo G. Costales, Concurrent ECCD Officer together with ECCD staff, assesses the operational status, learning environment, and program implementation at Marcon Phase 1 Day Care Center, Dau, Mabalacat City Pampanga.
Endorsement of Child Development Workers: The endorsement of qualified Child Development Workers (CDWs) designated to serve at Madapdap R.A. IV Child Development Center and Mauaque R.A. III Child Development Center. The endorsement was personally presented to Hon. Glen Joseph Tiongco, Punong Barangay of Dapdap, ensures the full support of the said Day Care Centers.
Continuous monitoring and coordination are vital to maintaining quality standards in all day care centers. The newly child development workers are expected to strengthen the delivery of service at Madapdap R.A. IV CDC and Mauaque R.A. lll CDC.

The City Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Office successfully conducted its 3rd Quarter Meeting today, July 2, 2026, at Jade Hall, bringing together all Child Development Workers (CDWs), CDW Aides for another meaningful day to discuss important updates and plans to ensure the effective implementation of ECCD programs and services.
During the meeting, important matters were discussed, including the implementation of Supplemental Feeding Program Cycle 16, working schedules, submission of Personal Data Sheets (PDS) and Daily Time Records (DTR), upcoming special activities, referral of children with special needs, and the preparation of Individual Development Plans (IDPs) to better respond to the unique needs of every child.
To assess and reinforce their knowledge of ECCD, all Child Development Workers and Aides also took a written examination. The CDW who obtained the highest score will be designated as the Cluster Coordinator, recognizing their knowledge and readiness to support fellow Child Development Workers in the implementation of ECCD programs.
The meeting was presided over by the Concurrent ECCD Officer, Mr. Charlo G. Costales, who reminded everyone that continuous learning, teamwork, and dedication are essential in providing quality early childhood care and development services to every child and family in the community.
As we move forward into another quarter, the City ECCD Office remains committed to empowering our Child Development Workers/ Aides and strengthening our programsโbecause every child deserves the best possible start in life.

The ECCD Office conducted an assessment visit to LEADS Learning & Therapy Center located at Mabolo Street, San Rafael Village, Barangay Mabiga, Mabalacat City. The center provides learning and therapy services for children with special needs, offering programs that support their growth, development, and learning needs.
During the visit, Ms. Alyanna Bernice Joson, OTRP, Center Director and Clinical Head, shared valuable information about the center's programs, services, and interventions designed to help children reach their full potential.
The assessment aimed to ensure compliance with standards and to further strengthen the delivery of quality Early Childhood Care and Development, and special education services.
The ECCD Office remains committed to supporting institutions that promote inclusive and child-centered learning environments for all children.

The activity was further enriched through the presentation of special video messages from City Mayor, Hon. Gerald Guttrie P. Aquino, City Vice Mayor, Hon. Marcos Jun T. Castro, City Coun., Hon. Patricia Anne Acorda, and Hon. Marjorie Grace M. Sambo, who expressed their support and commitment to quality Early Childhood Care and Development programs for Mabalacat's young learners.

The ECCD Office officially kicked off the Parents' Orientation today, June 16, 2026 marking the start of a stronger partnership between parents, Child Development Workers, and the community in nurturing every child's growth and development.
The activity was highlighted by special video messages of support from City Mayor Hon. Gerald Guttrie P. Aquino, City Vice Mayor Hon. Marcos Jun T. Castro, Hon. Patricia Anne Acorda, SP Chairperson of the Committee on Education, and Hon. Marjorie Grace M. Sambo, SP Chairperson of the Committee on Family and Social Services, reaffirming their commitment to quality early childhood care and development.
Today's orientation was successfully conducted at Bical, Madapdap R.A III, Camachiles Phase II, Camachiles Proper, Camachiles Purok 3, Mauaque R.A 1,National CDC and Atlu Bola Child Development Centers with parents actively participating in discussions that promote their children's holistic growth and development.
