At CAD Expert+, we advocate for transparent and responsible construction practices that empower clients, communities, and professionals alike. Our mission is to ensure that every project in the Philippines is planned with clarity, efficiency, and accountability, starting with a proper understanding of construction costs.
We promote awareness that materials, often 35% to 55% of project costs, must be chosen not only for durability but also for sustainability and long-term value. Labor, representing 20% to 35%, deserves fair recognition, as skilled and unskilled workers, together with on-site supervisors, are the backbone of every build. Equally important are the professional fees of architects, engineers, and quantity surveyors, typically 5% to 12%, whose roles safeguard compliance, technical integrity, and financial prudence.
Our advocacy also extends to contractor profit and overhead (5%–12%), which must be managed transparently to balance business viability and client trust. We emphasize the need to allocate resources for safety and site requirements (0.5%–3%), underscoring that PPE, proper site facilities, and safety officers are non-negotiable for worker welfare. Similarly, we raise awareness that permits and legal documents (0.2%–2%) are more than administrative tasks—they reflect accountability to local communities and governance. Finally, we urge every stakeholder to include a contingency fund (5%–15%), preparing projects to weather uncertainties such as price fluctuations, site challenges, and scope changes.
Grounded in trusted references like the Arcadis Construction Cost Handbook, PEZA guidelines, DPWH manuals, and local builder resources, our advocacy highlights that these cost ranges are not arbitrary but rooted in best practices.
Through our expertise in architecture, engineering, urban planning, master plumbing, and design consultancy, CAD Expert+ champions the creation of spaces that are not only functional and compliant but also ethical, safe, and sustainable. We believe that building responsibly today is an investment in stronger, more resilient communities tomorrow.

Arkiterms is an advocacy project that aims to make architectural language more accessible to everyone. By breaking down technical terms commonly used by architects, engineers, and allied professionals, it seeks to bridge the gap between the design industry and the general public. The project provides clear, simple, and engaging explanations of architectural terms so that ordinary people—homeowners, students, clients, or anyone curious about the built environment—can better understand the concepts behind spaces and structures that shape everyday life.
